Easter Egg Giveaway (Apr-17)

On Easter Saturday we were out giving away mini chocolate eggs (labelled with a suitable text) to all and sundry. Pete did a grand job going out into the shops, banks, highways and byways... just about everywhere, in fact. 800 eggs were distributed in 90 minutes, and very well received.

We also had the wherewithal for children to decorate blown eggs, and this was very popular, as you can see from the photographs below.

Ceilidh 2017

Once again, Shinjig did a fantastic job of providing excellent music and clear instructions for our annual Ceilidh. Fifty-one people enjoyed the dancing and the delicious pie-and-pea supper organised by Chris and her team: thank you, ladies!

Great Pancake Giveaway (Feb-17)

Our fourth Great Pancake Giveaway was a great success, as usual. The sun (unexpectedly!) shone, and although it was pretty quiet in town, we had plenty of takers for our free pancakes.

Thanks to everyone who supplied pancakes and toppings, and to those who came along and helped on the day. It was great fun!
